lighting and graphics reminded me of citizen kane, one of the greatest moveis of all time. Im not sure i fully understand the meaning, but it appears as tho you tried to make it very confusing, perhaps making it relate to more people, allowing them to fill in their experiences and ideas for what this purposely showed little of. good job

best stick animation ive seen in a while as many have already said. I love the dead bodies all over the ground. great use of music, made it all flow. Wonderful ending. Simultaneous action forced me to watch it three times so i could watch everything. all in all an A+. (9 only because i dont like to give out 10s unless it leaves the viewer with something to continue with, but with a stick animation thats kinda rough)

I started listening to this song expecting only the very best and read the description and then stopped. I started it over, turned out lights and monitor, closed my eyes as well, and listened and thought. I highly suggest it to everyone, including you MMD.

The beauty of this song lies partly in the fact that it wasnt written down. Just when you think you know where the songs going, it gently sways in an unexpected direction. And although some notes didnt seem m100% perfect, the movement of the song is entirely more important, and u hit that dead on.

But now dan i urge you to sit back, listen again, and read what these people have told you. I find it amazing that newgrounds has its own little haven where those of us that need to cry can cry freely, and can be consoled by kind people with good hearts. Its almost hopeful, not the song itself, but the community that has grown around your music. It makes me want to help people go through times that we all have or will go through later in life. Please, anyone that needs someone to listen or just to vent, feel free to PM me and I will lend an ear, because its a song like this that just says "there are people out there who could desperatly use your help" and maybe we should pay attention to that voice a little more often.

your singing has greatly improved. Granted you didnt have to sing as wide a range in notes on this, they are all pretty close together but still. The singing is much better. It just seemed like it should have been longer (cant believe its actually 4 min)

You seem to be worried about the repetitive nature of the song, but when you acompany it with the story, it makes the music much less boring. It seems like this is the kinda song u want constantly going but only real noticable when a change occurs in the music which is obviously when the story hits a change.

that being said its still a little long, some of the repititions could be cut out to make a more enjoyable song. The solo piano is a good choice here, its kind of like an old fashion movie without words. Also the cheery theme nicely contrasts the storyline which is kind of...well not cheery... atleast shouldnt be.

I personally enjoyed it but wouldnt want to listen to it again without something for my eyes to concentrate on while the song is being played.
